GEM was established in December 1993 in Stocksfield, Northumberland, providing maintenance and sales of computer hardware to businesses and the public sector in the Tyne Valley, Newcastle city centre and County Durham areas. At that time one of our services was a 'specialist monitor repair service', where we repaired monitors to component level (how times have changed!)
In 1997 we moved our base to Consett, County Durham and extended our range of services to include network installation and support (using Cat5e and Cat6 cabling) - see our Services Page.
